INDIVIDUAL THERAPY

Human nervous systems settle and become peaceful in the presence of an accepting other.

When you enter individual therapy, you are making time to pay attention to yourself and your life in a way that is rarely possible in our busy day-to-day routine. Our meeting is an opportunity to be seen and heard and to focus on what matters most to you. I am here to listen with empathy and respect for you and your process.

Human nervous systems settle and become peaceful in the presence of an accepting other, and that peace allows you to discover your own emotions, needs, inner voice, and solutions… Together, we make space for all of you to emerge and be honored. It’s an opportunity to become conscious about your life, to find compassion and self-acceptance, and to grow into the person you have the potential to become.

GROUP THERAPY

“A therapy group becomes a community of people who invest time and trust in one another, become known and important to each other, contributing to each other’s growth and development.” –Peter Cole and Daisy Reese

The goal of therapy is restoring the free flow of Self, and group therapy is the ideal vehicle to take us there. When we sit together in group, we have the chance to observe ourselves as we relate to others in real time. Identifying with others in group diminishes feelings of isolation as group members experience their shared humanity.

Group participation provides an opportunity to practice the art of connecting with others while sharing your aliveness and vulnerability, paving the way to becoming your authentic Self.

THE ENLIGHTENING HEART:

WHAT IS LOVE? WHAT IS NOT LOVE? WORKSHOP

Before we can find and maintain loving relationships, we must come to know and love ourselves.

Love is the force that heals our hearts and transforms our lives. In our culture, many unloving behaviors and attitudes get the label “love.” This experiential workshop is for those who want to understand the difference between unhealthy attachment and real love. As adults, we must come to know and love ourselves before we can find and maintain loving relationships. The Enlightening Heart: What is Love? What is Not Love? offers a safe space to expand your awareness and bring authenticity and self-love to your life.

We all have conflicting parts of self within us, and each of our parts is there for a reason. Some parts come from our authenticity, while others are adaptations to our environment, working to protect us in some way. In this experiential workshop, we will explore our parts of self with the goal of integration—bringing our parts together and having access to them all. We transform our lives by hearing what our parts have to say, discovering their real purpose, and befriending them, so that together we move toward self-love and wholeness.
